One found dead inside burned out Essa home

A house fire deemed non-suspicious is under investigation following the discovery of human remains inside the structure. But Nottawasaga OPP said no foul play is suspected in the death.

 

Essa fire crews were called to the residential fire scene on the 9th Line on April 15 shortly after 3 pm. The deceased was located after the fire was extinguished,

"The Ontario Fire Marshal will continue to investigate with assistance from the Nottawasaga OPP Crime and the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service."
