Suspect sought for transactions with lost wallet

Nottawasaga OPP are looking for a suspect who reportedly used a found wallet's ATM card to commit nearly $3,000 in fraudulant transactions last month.

Police said they were called when the person who lost their wallet shortly after leaving Walmart in Alliston at approximately 4:21 pm on Nov. 29, noticed transactions taking place shortly afterwards.

​

"Upon further investigation it was determined that the complainant's card was used several times at ATM machines, Dollarama, and Shoppers Drug mart for a total loss of $2,811."
