One suspect arrested for Angus break-in spree

Nottawasaga OPP arrested and charged one of at least two suspects alleged to have broken into several Angus businesses over a couple days at the end of December.
The Nottawasaga Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), ) with assistance from the Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) arrested the 49-year-old Angus man this afternoon around 1 pm at 62 Brentwood Road. That followed a January 6 report to police of several break and enters on the street where powertools and other goods were stolen from residential sheds.
The initial break-ins took place Dec 30, and Dec 31 at businesses on Mill Street and Margaret Street.

Breach of Probation - 9 counts
The accused has been held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Bradford on January 10.
