​Toyota Tundras targetted by thieves in Alliston, Beeton

​Nottawasaga OPP believe a spree of vehicle thefts and attempts over the past couple days are related.

Yesterday police reported a Jeep was stolen from a Kerr Blvd driveway in Alliston. This morning OPP reported a white Toyota Tundra (Lic# BV26343) was stolen on Sutcliffe Way in Treetops, January 5.

 

"The victim reported that video footage (attached below) from the home shows a dark coloured sedan was observed passing the residence southbound, and shortly after, it was seen again passing the driveway northbound at a very slow speed. The vehicle then stopped, and two occupants exited the vehicle. The vehicle was taken some time around 12:30 am," according to OPP.  "Shortly after, on that same day, officers responded to a residence on Atkinson Cr, (Treetops) and Patterson Street (Beeton) where a white 2024 Toyota Tundra and black 2025 Toyota Tundra were damaged during an apparent attempt theft overnight. Video footage shows the same dark coloured sedan from the first theft in front of both residences where the two attempts took place."

Police are seeking assistance from the public in those areas to check their security cameras for any footage that could help the investigation.
