SIU investigating crash in Bradford, Toronto men charged

The SIU has invoked its mandate as it relates to a July 24 two-vehicle crash on Cty Rd 88 in Bradford West Gwillimbury caused by a driver who failed to stop for South Simcoe Police, and struck a pick-up truck.

Three people in the vehicle, and a 54-year-old male driver of the pick-up truck were transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

South Simcoe Police charged three Toronto men aged 31, 32, and
40-years-old with two counts each of Theft Under $5,000 and two counts each of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

The 32-year-old driver is also charged with three counts of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm and Failure to Stop for Police Causing Bodily Harm.
