'Town did a pretty shabby job''

to the editor,

Posted October 2, 2017

So the New Tecumseth council sees fit to demolish yet another historic building in Tottenham.

The Nolan homestead and the water tower are set to disappear because they are beyond repair. Seems to me that the Town did a pretty shabby job of maintaining these structures and no one is taking them to task on that.

Doesn't it make sense that the Nolan house, if maintained, could have been rented out as a residence or used as an interpretive centre? Instead, it sits until it is beyond repair.

Our council members can't see beyond their noses.
