Kenney to carry Liberal banner in Simcoe-Grey

Posted June 17, 2019

Lorne Kenney won the Liberal Party nomination for Simcoe-Grey Saturday afternoon in Creemore.

Mr. Kenney, of Collingwood, defeated Bren Munro of Collingwood, and will be the Liberal candidate in the October 2019 federal elections. He previously finished second to Simcoe-Grey MPP Jim Wilson in the 2014 provincial elections.

The NDP currently is the only major political party without a nominated candidate in Simcoe-Grey. Terry Dowdall, Conservative, and Sherri Jackson, Green Party, are also candidates.
