Posted August 9, 2018

South Simcoe Police have charged a 19-year-old Cookstown man with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle after he struck a pedestrian in Bradford last night.

Police reported this morning the incident occurred just before 8:00 p.m. at a coffee shop on Holland St. West.

"Police learned that a vehicle had pulled away from the drive-through at a high rate of speed and turned south in the parking lot striking the victim," according to police. "A 22-year-old Innisfil woman was transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The accused stopped immediately and was arrested without incident on the scene."
