Alliston Feed Mill Market closing

Posted June 7, 2018

The Alliston Feed Mill Market located at 29 Young Street is permanently closing, reportedly related to a landlord tenant dispute.

Mill Market opened (between Boston Pizza and K-Circle store) in the fall of 2016 following an August 19, 2016 arson that destroyed their original feed service business on Albert Street.

Reached this afternoon for comment, owner Peter Dockerty said "That is all I am able to say."

A message posted today on the store's Facebook page says they're undertaking an inventory clear out sale, and will also be selling store fixtures.

"We also wanted to ensure our customers are taken care of once the location has officially closed, and so we are pleased to partner up with Neighbours Country Depot, who will take on our complete line of pet, bird, and livestock products," according to the message, which did not include a closing date.

At this post, no further details could be confirmed.
